The Aurora Heritage Centre [the Centre] is located in
Aurora Ontario, Canada, an historic, now rapidly growing community of more than 40,000 residents.
The town is located on the north slopes of the historically significant Oak Ridges Moraine,
less than an hour's drive from the City of Toronto.
The Aurora Museum is currently closed due to the renovation of the Church Street School Building. Our temporary office location is at Hillary House (see below), Aurora, Ontario. Visitors and Researchers are welcome to use the local history, building history and photograph files at the office, but are advised to make an appointment with the curator.
